If the information you are seeking is not included on this page, we kindly ask you to review the Campus Store FAQ before emailing us directly. Please note that we accept Visa, VisaDebit, MasterCard, MasterCard Debit, and campus store gift cards for online payments. We do not accept Debit or AMEX. The MRU OneCard is the official identification card for the Mount Royal University community. You will need to bring your OneCard with you anytime you are on campus to get building access. You do not need a OneCard if you are not coming to campus or to take advantage of any remote services, including those offered by the Cougars Campus Store.

All OneCard requests are to be submitted online through (instructions below). In-person photo submissions are no longer available. OneCards are currently available for pick up in the Cougars Campus Store during open hours. Please wait to receive a confirmation email stating that your card is ready for pick up before coming in store, and bring government-issued photo ID to pick up your card.

We recommend you park in Lot 2, walk to the West Gate entrance, and proceed downstairs to the store. View our parking map for lot locations.

Visit the OneCard FAQ for all other questions about OneCard or email

To avoid delays, order your textbooks as early as possible!

The Spring booklist is available as of April 11th. You can use the course list builder to check which textbooks are currently available for purchase. If your texts are available, we encourage you to purchase them in advance. If you decide to purchase your textbooks online, look for Required and Optional texts. Required texts are mandatory to complete the course. Optional books are supplemental material recommended by the instructor.

You can wait until your first class or when you receive the class syllabus to buy your books, but remember that you do not need to wait to purchase all your textbooks at once. Kindly note that used textbooks are in high demand and generally sell out quickly.

You may also experience a short delay in downloading eBooks after your credit card is charged. Please allow 24 hours after completing an order before contacting the campus store.

In some cases when using the course list builder, your course may not appear on the booklist in your search results. This is because materials for your course have not yet been selected and it’s best to wait until you receive your course syllabus to find out which materials are required. You may also receive a “No Course Materials Required” notice in your search results which means that no texts are required for this course.

The booklist is updated regularly as we get new text requests from faculty so we encourage you to check it frequently. Be sure to review your list of registered courses and the corresponding booklist to ensure that you are buying the right books. To find your registered course schedule, head to MyMRU. Select the "Register and Pay" tab and then select "My Course Schedule". You can also find your booklist on Blackboard. Note that different sections of the same class may use different books so it’s important to know your section.

If you're having trouble navigating the Course List Builder to find your books, reference our Textbook How-To Guide for tips.
