OneCard

The MRU OneCard is the official identification card for the Mount Royal University community. You will need to bring your OneCard with you anytime you are on campus to get building access. You do not need a OneCard if you are not coming to campus or to take advantage of any remote services, including those offered by the Cougars Campus Store.

For more information about OneCard, please view the OneCard information page.

Textbooks

To avoid delays, order your textbooks as early as possible!

The Fall booklist is now available. You can use the course list builder to check which textbooks are currently available for purchase. If your texts are available, we encourage you to purchase them in advance. If you decide to purchase your textbooks online, look for Required and Optional texts. Required texts are mandatory to complete the course. Optional books are supplemental material recommended by the instructor.

You can wait until your first class or when you receive the class syllabus to buy your books, but remember that you do not need to wait to purchase all your textbooks at once. Kindly note that used textbooks are in high demand and generally sell out quickly.

You may also experience a short delay in downloading eBooks after your credit card is charged. Please allow 24 hours after completing an order before contacting the campus store.

In some cases when using the course list builder, your course may not appear on the booklist in your search results. This is because materials for your course have not yet been selected and it’s best to wait until you receive your course syllabus to find out which materials are required. You may also receive a “No Course Materials Required” notice in your search results which means that no texts are required for this course.

The booklist is updated regularly as we get new text requests from faculty so we encourage you to check it frequently. Be sure to review your list of registered courses and the corresponding booklist to ensure that you are buying the right books. To find your registered course schedule, head to MyMRU. Select the "Register and Pay" tab and then select "Registration Landing Page". You can also find your booklist on Blackboard. Note that different sections of the same class may use different books so it’s important to know your section.

If you're having trouble navigating the Course List Builder to find your books, reference our Textbook How-To Guide for tips.

The Campus Store is open for in-person shopping and in-store pick up. Shipping options continue to be available for all orders.
If you’re only coming in to pick up an order,  we recommend parking in Lot 2 and proceeding to the West Gate entrance.

On campus pick up for online orders

All on campus pick-up's are available in the Cougars Campus Store. Please wait to receive a confirmation email that your order is complete and ready for pick up before coming to campus. Free on campus pick up is listed as a shipping option when placing orders online. Here's how it works:

  • Step 1: When you place your order online and select “on campus pick up” under shipping options, you will receive an initial email confirming that we’ve received your order.
  • Step 2: Once we have fulfilled your order, you will receive a second confirmation email notifying you that your order is ready for pick up. Please bring a piece of photo ID with you to pick up your order.
  • When you arrive on campus, we recommend you park in Lot 2 near the West Gate entrance. Enter at the West Gate entrance and proceed down the stairs to the Cougars Campus Store on Main Street. Please have your order number and photo ID ready to show the representative upon pick up.

On campus pick up is available during store hours.
